Lexie Hull Steals the Show: Indiana Fever Player Rocks Indy 500 Starter Jacket with a Chic Black Dress and Boots

If you’re living in Indianapolis, you’d be aware that it’s Memorial Day weekend and time for the iconic Indianapolis 500 race. This fact wasn’t lost on Indiana Fever player Lexie Hull either. As she stepped into Gainbridge Fieldhouse before her team’s significant nationally televised match against the New York Liberty, Hull paid homage to the occasion.

In a photograph posted to the Fever’s Instagram account on Saturday, May 24, Hull can be seen wearing an Indianapolis 500 starter’s jacket. Adding to this ensemble, she paired the jacket with a short black dress and knee-high black boots. Aware that the cameras would be capturing moments before the match, looking stylish for both the audience and fellow team supporters held great significance—and she understood this well.

Hull, alongside her teammate Caitlin Clark, put forth their best effort to guide the Fever past the reigning WNBA champions, the Liberty. However, it didn’t pan out as the Liberty narrowly beat Indiana 90-88 in front of an enthusiastic audience.

Hull has been crucial in bringing the Fever back into playoff contention this year. Although the WNBA season is still early, securing a victory against New York would have significantly boosted their standing. However, the Fever now face additional challenges ahead. In the coming weeks and months, Hull will also unveil several new style choices.
