Kathmandu, May 25 – According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the current weather conditions throughout the nation are being influenced by westerly currents and localized wind patterns. Additionally, there is some impact from moist air originating from both the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces along with other hilly areas are forecasted to experience mostly cloudy to overcast conditions, whereas the remainder of the nation will have predominantly clear to partially cloudy weather.
This afternoon, thunderstorms accompanied by light to moderate rainfall are anticipated in certain sections of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim, along with scattered portions of other zones. Additionally, a few higher hilltops and mountains may experience light precipitation in the form of either rain or snow.
The Division has advised the public to remain cautious since the prevailing weather could impact everyday activities, farming, well-being, along with both land and air travel.
