After AMVCA Win, Lateef Adedimeji Reveals He and His Wife Dedicated Their Souls to ‘Lisabi’

Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji is experiencing an overwhelming surge of emotions and heartfelt thanks after his movie “Lisabi” achieved significant recognition at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). The culturally rich film secured three awards from ten nominations, taking home accolades for Best Makeup, Best Art Direction, as well as the prestigious Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) award.

In an interview, Adedimeji discussed the profound creative process involved in making the film Lisabi, which he produced alongside his spouse, actress Mo Bimpe. He characterized it as a deeply personal project that pushed both of them to their boundaries and challenged their beliefs.

“Lisabi, the cinematic masterwork we dedicated ourselves to, etched itself into history last night… WOW! Lisabi deeee!!!” the actor exclaimed.
