INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)—As the spring temperatures increase, wildlife throughout Indiana is becoming more active.
This encompasses turtles coming out of their winter hibernation.
Jen Hancock, who leads the wildlife rescue organization Re-Wilding Indiana and holds a license as a wildlife rehabilitator, is urging locals to stay aware of animal behavior during this season.
On Thursday, she participated in a discussion with News8 regarding the matter. Patty Spitler from “Pet Pals TV” was also present during the conversation.
