MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) — The Madison Arts Commission granted $106,000 to over 60 groups for various initiatives via their yearly arts grant initiative, as reported by the city on Friday.
Authorities stated that these grants will offer assistance for initiatives aimed at boosting the city’s cultural landscape. The arts grants initiative receives funding partly through a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, utilizing resources provided by both the state government of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
During the 2025-2026 cycle, the commission processed more than 74 applications, amounting to request totals exceeding $227,000.
These initiatives encompass various disciplines such as poetry, literature, visual arts, dancing, and cinema.
