Tanner Koziol took slightly more than 24 hours to make up his mind about his subsequent program. After pledging his commitment, he proceeded with his decision.

During the winter transfer period, Koziol formally re-joined the portal on Wednesday.
By Thursday night, he had committed to Houston, becoming part of his third squad over the last fifteen weeks.
Koziel, who plays as a tight end, was considered an essential addition to the recruiting class assembled by Wisconsin’s head coach, Luke Fickell. However, Koziel did not participate in any of the recent spring practice sessions, leading to speculations that he might join the transfer portal once the current recruitment period began last Wednesday.
Following his performance of 94 receptions for 839 yards with eight touchdowns at Ball State in the previous year, Koziel was considered one of the most sought-after athletes in the transfer portal. Initially anticipated to address a gap for the Badgers, he will instead aim to make an impact with the Cougars competing in the Big 12 Conference.
