Justin Hubner Responds to Malaysian Media’s Ridicule
Justin Hubner Responds to Malaysian Media’s Ridicule. Justin Hubner gave a sharp response to the Malaysian media who underestimated the capabilities of the Indonesian National Team.
The Wolverhampton Wonders player responded to a post on the Malaysian social media account, One Football, after the Garuda Team held Australia to a draw in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers on September 10.
He advised Australia to learn from Malaysia’s strategy when they defeated Indonesia at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium. Not only Soeros, the Japanese National Team was also advised to do the same. This post was then commented on by Hubner on Vial’s Instagram account.
In this case, Hubner said that several countries were no longer on the same level. The Indonesian national teams from several countries must be able to accept that they are no longer on the same level as us, Hubner wrote in the post.
Malaysia itself had won at the GBK Stadium when they were hosted by the Indonesian National Team 5 years ago. The Red and White Team had suffered a 23-point defeat to Malaysia in the continuation of Group G in the second round of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, but now the situation is much different.
The Indonesian national team continues to develop and become the only team from Southeast Asia that is able to advance to the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers and also ensure themselves of appearing in the 2027 Asian Cup.
